First fitted in A3 from 2013 as MIB1, then MIB2 system is rolled out in all models from 2016.

From 2017 MIB2+ started with A8 D5 (4N), A1 and Q3 from 2019, later in A6 A7 Q2 Q3 Q7 Q8 and e-tron from 2021 on.

MIB3 comes first in A3 8Y 2020 with 10/12" main screen and second touchscreen for climate control, later from 2023 fitted in all models.

Highlight of MIB2 and beyond systems is the introduction of smartphone connectivity (Apple Carplay and Android Auto), which is proven to be the most desirable and used feature. Early MIB2 units may not have that function, we can upgrade those units or exchange with ours.

First fitted in A8 in 2004 as MMI2G, then Q7 from 2005 followed by A4/A5 from 2007.

MMI3G started in 2009 and MMI3G+ from 2012, in most models except A3 and TT. A1 and Q3 uses the system until MY19.

Running in parallel in lower spec trim there are RMC, Concert and Symphony radios.

RMC is fitted in A1, Q3, A6 and A7. Symphony and Concert are fitted in A4, A5 and Q5.

RNS-E navigation system was fitted in A3 and TT during 2007-2013, RNS-D was fitted in A4 and A6 from 2002-2006 and classic Concert and Syphony radios in other models during 1998-2005. Please contact us if you have one of those older equipment that needs repair, or upgrade to something more modern.
